Upgrade and Migration

No data is lost. You will get back your events, calendars,... in your new version. Of course, as a prerequisite, it means that you haven't requested to erase data when you have uninstalled AllEvents.

Menu links are not lost. Nevertheless, you wil have to check each of them in order to adjust the parameterizationNéanmoins il vous faudra repasser sur chacune d'elle pour adapter le paramétrage

Parameterization of AllEvents is modified. that needs new parameters. Some ones are got back, you will have to check parameters in order to well define registration rights, triggers of mail sending....

In order to migrate an AllEvents 2.5 to an site AllEvents 3.3 one, you just have to uninstall the AllEvents componenet in your website to be migrated , migrate your website to Joomla 3 install again AllEvents 3 over.

  1. Install AllEvents (The same major version) in the new website
  2. Export all #__allevents_* (including data)
  3. Insert the exported tables and the data in the nwe website.

You can use any tool for that (as phpmyadmin, heidisql, navicat, etc), so you will not have to write any SQL code.
